Default What songs should be BANNED from being played in a guitar store?

I have a friend that works at a local pawn shop and claims that 99% of the time when people come in to play a guitar, they play the following:

1. Any song by Creed.
2. Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
3. Nirvana - Come as You Are
4. Sweet Home Alabama
5. Stairway

I thought it might be fun to compile a list of songs that should be BANNED from being played in a guitar store.

Ok, GO!

issac albinez (however you spell his name) - asturius (however you spell the name of the song)

I've heard maybe ten people butcher that song to death and every time, i have to bite my lip to save myself from sounding like an *** when I tell him he's doing it wrong. on a side note, that song is really REALLY hard on a ukulele!

Anything with cuss words in them. I have seen kids mainly come in and start giving a free concert with the words to go along.

Iron Man. Iron Man. Iron Man.

...IRON MAN.

Smoke on the Water and Eruption are tied for second.

Those three are played more at my workplace than any other.

During the folk scare of the 60's, Matt Umanov in Greenwich Village banned "Deep River Blues". How times change.

Anything which involves loud strumming. Some guys whack away so loudly that it's impossible for anyone else to hear what the guitar they're playing.

If I never hear the intro to "Sweet Child of Mine" again it will be too soon.

Man, I'm way out of the loop. I had to google "Sweet Child of Mine" and Creed. I only have a vague knowledge of Nirvana.

It appears that I'm fortunate never to have heard of Creed, maybe to have seen the name Nirvana, and never to have heard a song by either one. But then I don't hang in any guitar stores other than Schoenberg's.
