Default Recorded this amazing girl yesterday. She's 16 and she can play! Video inside

I had these great visitors yesterday to record some stuff with.

Merel van Hoek is an amazing young guitar player, who has only been playing for 3 years, self-taught and she already writes her own material.

Luthier Febo Waanders also dropped by and brought his latest creation for this recording: the Nightjar. An amazing Sinker Redwood/Malaysian Blackwood Waanders Grand Concert. (www.waanders-gitaren.com)

...Check it out, be sure to watch in HD 1080p if you can. Maybe comment if you like it, that'll do them good.

Incredible, Joost. I've got her by 39 years and have been playing for three years and self-taught, but you will not see any video by me on YouTube.

Love the redwood and her playing too (she's got some nice guitar fingers).

Fabulous. It's so interesting to see that degree of musical maturity in a teenager. Isn't she supposed to be sassing her parents and watching tv and doing drugs instead of playing this beautiful music? There is obviously nothing wasted about her youth.

excellent playing and impressive composing--watched several of her videos. I'd pay cash money to go hear her live. Thanks for the link.

What an amazing talent. The music just flows out of her. She makes it look so effortless. Her folks must be very proud. I listened to all of her postings. Each one shows the talent this girl has. And only been playing for 3 years!. I have to work/practice for three years just to play one of her songs. 'Merelvh', you are an inspiration to all of us. When does your CD come out?

Well, this was also meant to show off the guitar's tone, so no-go on effects...
